I have a project and a card to share today.
I made a Luminaria, it is fun and easy to do. Here is the link for all details. The tutorial is from Splitcoaststampers.
Here it is from all four sides. This is so cool with the flameless tealight(I had received one a couple of years ago and luckily my daughter had it saved. Whew!)
I have used a lot of fun new winter images from Fred She Said. for the first panel, I popped the naughty or nice PRECOLORED elf(4inches). I fussy cut it and added mowed lawn distress ink to its edges. I added flower soft to all it’s trims and to the ground. I have had flower soft for quite some time and have never used it, Love the texture it provides. The next two opposite sides have the crystal snowflakes, down to 1 inches each. I colored them with salty ocean distress ink, it is a beautiful color and I added stickles to it. I do not have the cutting machine so I hand cut each one, it was pretty easy to do. On the side opposite of the elf I added the PRECOLORED Snow Lady- Light Up your Holidays(4inches). I fussy cut her, added salty ocean distress ink and added some flower soft to her scarf and holly leaves on her hat. Her hand reaches out to the side of the luminaria.
Here is th inside and a picture in a dark room.
Now onto my card
I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch 171 for this card. I did take some liberties with the sketch. I mirror imaged it. Instead of the full circle I added it as a corner to resemble a hill and added a sentiment where the flag would be.
Fred She Said has so many fun images. Since the theme was Christmas, I decided to color Emma the Skating elf with traditional colors and so there is not much shading here. I used R29 for the red and added glossy accents wherever the color red is. I used Y08, and G00,YG06 and 03 for the dress. skin-E35,11 and E02 Hair is E15,11and YR23. Do you see the gorgeous Crystal snowflake peeping from under her, this is 4 inches and is so awesome. It is colored with Salty ocean distress ink and then has pearlized water, once dry has stickles. In the corner is the absolute beautiful PRECOLORED Poinsettia, I just printed the jpg sheet, did not resize it as the size is just perfect. I fussy cut it added stickles. Once dry, popped all layers on dimensionals and added a sweet white button in it’s center. Other details added are a embossed Folder -cuttlebug and christmas paper pack used here. Christmas blessing sentiment, also from Fred She Said. I also added a zva swirl, this card looks so shiny in real life.
Here is the inside, could not resist adding a poinsettia again.
