I made this for the MFT guest DT contest for January. This was a wonderful sketch.
I have wanted to color the Fred bear with dots, I used copics E37,35,33 and 31. I paper pieced the blanket, the soup and tissue box. I sharpened the edges with a marker and added some distress inks to the sides. This is Fred Bear Gives Comfort from MFT. I used MFT finishing flourishes in stampin up ink-early espresso with second generation stamping. Added some pearls from my stash. Underneath the bear there are fishtail dienamics both the layer and the stax. I love the LJD darling dots and that is what I added in white to the paper underneath. I love how it goes well with the card. And I also added lace from my stash and colored it with an E35.
Here is the inside. It has another panel with the dots and it is created into a pocket for a gift card. It has a sentiment from the same set of Fred Bear.
I love how this card came about. Wish me luck. Thanks for visiting and I appreciate each comment.
Very cute card!
