I have a baby shower to go to and I saw this tutorial here to make a basket, I fell in love with it and thought I would make it, it was fast and within an hour I had made three of them. I did change how the handle is, it was my daughter’s suggestion and I think it does look great.
I have used an image from Saturated Canary– Icecream and Pickles. I printed it on Copic paper, cut it with the postage stax from MFT and colored it with copics. Other MFT dies are medium scallops and tag you’re it. I have used EK Success punch.
Skin- E000,00,11,21. R20. Hair- E33,35,37. YR23. Dress R20,30,22. BG10,70. Y08,02 Eyes- W3,5. White gel pen. I ahve used some wild orchid flowers and Ornate butterflies from Fred She Said, watercolored with distressink- Pickled Raspberry and dusty concord. Each layer had distress inks to sharpen each layer.
Here is the back with the brad. and you can see inside I have layered scallops so that all the mess is hidden.
Here is the back with the tag.
Here is her close up, love her hair.

I have seen these baskets around on different blogs, but I truly LOVE your take on it. Love the color and the punched border. Fabulous project.
How beautiful and imaginative. I am sure this will be cherished by the recipient.
Thanks for sharing with us at Bearly Mine this week.
