I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch 182. I loved the sketch. I loved how the flowers came out so if you scroll down I have a mini tutorial on it. It is the first time I have done a tutorial so pardon all mistakes.
l Stamped the sentiment using MFT Black Licorice ink, this is a fabulous ink and this is the first time I used this sentiment. Love how it came out. I have distressed all edges. The flowers- happy Flowers and Ornate Butterflies are from Fred She Said. Butterflies are watercolroed with Distress ink and fussy cut. I have added pearls and brads, stickles for shine. I added two dienamics- flag stax(my fav die) and medium scallops. A lace just to break the color.
Here is the inside
I loved how the pink flower turned out so I thought I would do a quick mini tutorial on how I did them showing the purple ones. THis is picture heavy so just relax and enjoy. You can use this tutorial with most of the flowers at Fred She Said.
I first cut out all the flowers- these are the new Happy flowers from Fred She Said- as you can see I am not very exact in how I cut, don’t worry this will all get colored and scrunched and will not be too visible. I just printed the full sheet and so I did not have to worry about sizing each flower. As you can see for the purple I did not use the largest layer but did use it for the pink one.
You can use reinkers but since I don’t have that I dabbed some distress inks directly on my craft mat and sprayed them with pearlized water using my mister. I used Seedless preserves and milled lavender.
Wear gloves- I used disposable glove and dab each flower, back and front in the ink and scrunch them up.
Dry them well. Open them up and layer them in two layers staggering each layer of the same size. On the smallest layer size add a half pearl.
Join the entire flower and again scrunch it up. You can see in this picture one joint flower and one totally scrunched up.
Open it up with a paper piercer and then arrange it the way you wnat, remember it will dry that way. Then I added stickles, that is always my choice of glitter but you can use dazzling dust, fine glitter, Just drops of glossy accents and glass sprinkles. Whatever you love that can shine.
Here is a close up when finished. The pink one was done with Pickled Raspberry Distress ink. the leaves were done the same way with mowed lawn distress ink.
I am entering it in a few contest
