bling, butterflies, cardstock, Faber Castell pencils, flower, Fred She Said, gesso, handmade card, handmade flowers, MFT dienamics, MPD stencil, My Mind's Eye, rose, sequins, stickles, waterbrush
I used MFT sketch 133 and made a mixed media card. This was a lot different than what I am used to.
I made the panel with Faber Castell pastel pencils, they are intense pigments, i jsut scribbled the colors in layers and then used a water brush to blend them in. Then i added MFT- MPD distressed background dots and chicken wire. I took gesso with MPD rose builders tencil and made the rose, wiping the excess whihc left jsut the border. I cut some hexagon woth the MFT hexagon border. and colored the pieces with color pencils and water. The Fred She Said —Sentimental flower Doodledallion and ornate butterfly was colored with alcohol inks. I added stickles overnight And then the flower was generously sprayed with plum Mister Huey’s spray. I added some sequins to finish the card.
close up of the flower
the inside was colored with color pencils, water color and stencil.
