I will hopefully daily have a card for this month of October.
I am playing along with Hope You can Cling to Challenges at Splitcoaststampers. It is a wonderful cause, and brings cheer and hope to many battling cancer. These cards will be sent to Houston,UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. You can play along too.
I am not one to sponge and mask but this picture inspired me to do so.
Here is my card
I sponged first the circle with a mask, I wanted the sun to be dark so I added pumice stone on the left side and then scattered straw distress ink.
I then started from the bottom and added worn lipstick, pickled raspberry, milled lavender, shaded lilac, dusty concord adn seedless preserves distress ink. I heat set it, then added pearlized water and heat set it. Once completely dry I added the deer from Paper and Such with archival ink ( this was the first time I used the ink and the deer)- just seemed a perfect fit, I added the birds from a set by Technique Tuesday. I love them. I added a sentiment from MFT.
Here is the inside.
I am entering it also in Loves Rubber Stamp- anything goes.
Thank you for visting and for your sweet comments.
