I will hopefully have a card for this month of October every day.( more than one today as I made 8 of them but have not uploaded them.
I am playing along with Hope You can Cling to Challenges at Splitcoaststampers. It is a wonderful cause, and brings cheer and hope to many battling cancer. These cards will be sent to Houston,UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. You can play along too. This challenge was The King of Rock n’roll, Make a card inspired by Elvis Presley. Now this perplexed me as I am not a big music fan, so I went about looking and reading lyrics of his song.
There were two songs that appealed to me- Love Me tender and As long as I have you.
I used MFT WTG May I have this dance, I love this stamp. I colored his coat with copics, paper pieced her with a wonderful shiny pink. I added tons of gems on him(as needed for Elvis). I added fun tickets on the side representing his different shows and the city die, I thought went well with it. I first cut it with a double adhesive sheet and filled it with silver glitter and then off set it on black. Love the look. I added silver sequins. All the sentiments on this stamp are wonderful, with the songs I thought this one went well.
Tell me what u think.
I am adding this to Simon Says stamp- anything goes; pile it on- embellishment crazy and crafty hands- anything goes.
Thank you for visiting and for your sweet comments.
