I will hopefully have a card for this month of October every day.( more than one today as I made 8 of them but have not uploaded them.)

I am playing along with Hope You can Cling to Challenges at Splitcoaststampers. It is a wonderful cause, and brings cheer and hope to many battling cancer. These cards will be sent to Houston,UT MD Anderson Cancer Center. You can play along too. This challenge was Honor Your Elders– I made this in honor of my dad. I am very inspired by him and this is  saying I believe he lives by. I used MFT sketch 147.

I had so much fun making this card. I used MFT LJD darling dots for the background and the text is from the poppy stamps. I used Grape Jelly and Grapesicle ink. I cut the dizzy doily with dark purple and then added a white circle using circle stax with MFT sentiment with black licorice ink.. I added some Finishing flourishes and then I added a fishtail flag stax with the fun arrow. love how it turned out. I added pink sequins(the picture does not show the light pink tinge well).

I am adding this to Simon Says stamp- anything goes.
