Today is my daughter’s birthday, she turned 8. So I made this card for her last night, I used Sweet Sunday Sketch- it is the 200th sketch, there is still time if you want to play in it, it is a great sketch, I made three cards and I never do that with one sketch. I loved it.
While making this card, I kept in mind, a few things, my daughter is very proud that she is a brownie, she loves colors, her favorite color is turquoise and hot pink.
I used MFT PI- scout girl, colored her with copics, She is cut with oval stax. The background is done with MFT stencil stars and distress inks- peacock feathers, pickled raspberry, squeezed lemon. love how it came out. I added a fun sequins paper behind it. Instead of the flag in the corner, I added a heart from birdhouse spun and the party hat– she loves this hat. I cut a postage stax and added the LJD birthday greeting on it with MT razzle berry and colored it with copic. I added lots of stickles and glossy accents.
for the inside I added the party hat border and this beautiful stamp from polka dot greeting( a steal during MFT sale). I added 2014 for the upcoming new year, she loves to celebrate new year from the Vanity license plate.
I am entering it in Sweet sunday sketch- sketch 200 and loves rubber stamps– anything goes and Polkadoodles– anything goes(christmas birthday).
Thank you for visiting and for your sweet comments.
