Today is a dear friend’s b’day and I wanted a special card for her. I used Sweet Sunday sketch 222.
This card took some time but I loved how it came out. I used MFT blueprint 15, i love this set. I used it for the main panel and for the yellow strip. I cut a circle with circle stax and then sponged a scene with distress inks, sweet n’sassy stamps and used MFT inks too. I cut a lily, colored it with copics and then added a rad after dry embossing it. I added some pearls, tons of glossy accents to the lily. Lots of lquid pearls, yes, i did go a little extra crazy, it started with having to cover a black spot caused after stamping the sentiment and then went on. I love this sentiment stamp. I added stickles to the birds, there rae the tiny ones from Technique Tuesday.
here is the inside, I forgot and took the picture later and that is why you see some writing in there.
Butterflies are her favorite and so this works. I added liquid pearls to the border. I am adding it to Word Art Wednesday- anything goes: Addicted to stamps- Outdoor and Just add ink– I used the cool combo of green, yellow and pink.
Thank you for visiting and for your sweet comments.
What a beautiful card for your friend – I love the added liquid pearls and pearl accents. Thank you so much for joining us at SSSC this week!
What a pretty card. I love the background you’ve created for your window panel. Thanks for playing along at Just Add Ink.
