I used MFT sketch 212. I interpreted it a little loosely.
I usually like to make my own background but this paper from Anne Griffin was too cool to ignore. I cut a panel from Blueprint 13, and used the small scallops to cut the bottom edge. I cut the word Thanks from red, steel gray and cream and stacked it together with multi matte. I used a sheer ribbon so that the roses would still peek through. Splitcoaststampers had us be inspired by Angela’s blog and it is gorgeous, I loved this card, I used the rose as the inspiration to create 3 small rolled roses with foil cardstock and used the flourish to anchor them. I used them as the focal point instead of the oval in the sketch. Added some stickles and pearls as the final touch.
Here is the inside, I am in love with the Desert Bouquet stamp and added that in the inside with limelight and electric red ink, with a sentiment from Thanks stamp. All stamps, ink and dies are from MFT.
I am adding it to Cute Card Thursday– colorful; Word Art Wednesday– anything goes and Creative Inspiration– Add pearls and classy cards n such– add lettering
