My daughter wanted to enter the MFT supercard contest so she made this card for her teacher. She is 9 years old, she loves making cards and loves to use different products on them. She refused to let me help.
She started with the pink background on the white card base using pickled raspberry. Then she made the background with scattered straw and mermaid lagoon distress inks. In her mind that was an ocean and she applied the inks to give a water feel. She die cut a few trees, flowers and penguins from the penguins in paradise set, she stamped and colored them all with copics. She white embossed the sentiment and then added them all on the card, she popped the penguins. She added wink a stella on the flowers.
Thank u for visiting and for your sweet comments.
Congratulations to your daughter, a great card well designed.

I think it’s wonderful that you can share your love for paper crafts with your daughter! I too started at a young age, & it has been a blessing to have a mother who supports me & helps me learn as I grow & evolve as an artist. She is very lucky to have you to nurture her creative spirit. Her card is beautiful, you must be so proud! š
