I made this using the Sweet Sunday Sketch, I found it CAS and so took some time to figure out how I was going to use the images- yes they are from Fred She Said, she is back with some sweet images. I love the Swallowtail Butterfly and this time I colored it with Copics.

image

I started with MFT die BP 13 and added the MFT paisley stencil with texture paint. Once dry added panels form other BP. Stamped the sentiment in versa fine ink. The circle has a sweet old image- gerberra daisy in a jar, love it and colored it with zig pens, added glossy accents to make it stand out and some glitter. Sequins and some border shading. Please do note Fred She Said also has pre colored images if you do not like to color, I do so I go for the digi non colored.

Inside also has the swallowtail butterfly, a little bigger. The coloring shows a little better here

imageI am adding it to Love to scrap– anything goes- my third card there. Incy Wincy Design– things with wings; Crafty card makers– water- jar has water in it; Simon Says Stamp– inspired by I- the stenciling looks like icing.and Sweet stamping– no designer paper.

burlap paper, butterflies, cardstock, celebration, copics, distress ink, embossing powder, flower, Fred She Said, glitter, handmade card, handmade flowers, MFT dienamics, MFT ink, MFT stamps, pearls, stickles

I made this using Mojo Monday sketch 366. October is a month when I like to make cards to give. Jennifer McGuire has the caring hearts card drive for nursing homes, and I am going to make two cards of each pattern I make, one to send to the drive and one to give/sell.

P1050405

I love how this came out. I used Fred She Said- Doodled flower trio set – it has flowers, leaves and this gorgeous butterfly. I colored them with copics- Y02,08 and 23. YR18,21,68. Added some white wiht white signo pen. I added stickles overnight.

I used MFT dies for all the sections, main yellow panel, the rectangles behind. The square is our of Quic Qutz die. I added an MFT sentiment heat embossed with detail Ranger powder.. Two pearls around the sentiment completes the card. behind the yellow panel I added the Mod pattern stamp in safety orange ink. One of the rectangle panel is from a new pack I got from Jo Ann called Burlap paper. It has beautiful pattern with the look of burlap. Just Awesome.

Here is a close up of the flower and butterfly.

P1050406
The cards should have a message from you in the inside, this may be a little hard for me, I love to do the insides but usually leave it blank.

P1050399

Picture of both cards

P1050403

I am adding this also to Word Art Wednesday– anything goes; Loves rubber stamps– They are back- sending good thoughts- challenge is Anything goes;

Today is a dear friend’s b’day and I wanted a special card for her. I used Sweet Sunday sketch 222.

P1050183

This card took some time but I loved how it came out. I used MFT blueprint 15, i love this set. I used it for the main panel and for the yellow strip. I cut a circle with circle stax and then sponged a scene with distress inks, sweet n’sassy stamps and used MFT inks too. I cut a lily, colored it with copics and then added a rad after dry embossing it. I added some pearls, tons of glossy accents to the lily. Lots of lquid pearls, yes, i did go a little extra crazy, it started with having to cover a black spot caused after stamping the sentiment and then went on. I love this sentiment stamp. I added stickles to the birds, there rae the tiny ones from Technique Tuesday.

here is the inside, I forgot and took the picture later and that is why you see some writing in there.

P1050184

Butterflies are her favorite and so this works. I added liquid pearls to the border. I am adding it to Word Art Wednesday- anything goes: Addicted to stamps- Outdoor and Just add ink– I used the cool combo of green, yellow and pink.

butterflies, cardstock, celebration, distress ink, flower, gems, glossy accents, handmade card, handmade flowers, lace, MFT dienamics, MFT stamps, pearls, spring

I made this card for my mom for Mother’s day yesterday.

I wish all mom a Happy Mother’s Day throughout the year.

I love KittieKraft’s cards, so when I saw the oval in sketch MFT-175, I knew I was trying to do something similar to her style.

P1050124

I first sponged the background with squeezed lemonade distress ink and then added the two border on the side with MFT-cotton candy ink. The border is from Recollections(garage sale bargain).then I added as trip colored with both inks. I popped the oval cut from Blueprint- 3 and added the leafy flourish. I die cut the MFT trio flowers in different shades of pink and dry embossed them from the back. to make it fuller I added some punched leaves from Martha Stewart. I love how it adds to the look. Added some white and black pearls, a lace and butterfly form LJD blissful butterflies. The sentiment is MFT- from the T-shirt set.

here is a closeup of the flowers

P1050126

The inside has a beautiful sentiment and more of the sponged paper with a border.

butterflies, cardstock, celebration, distress ink, flower, gems, glossy accents, handmade card, handmade flowers, heart, liquid pearls, MFT stamps, pastel colors, sequins, spring

My daughter’s student teacher was leaving and we got her some gifts, my daughter was thrilled when I asked if she wanted me to create a thank you set for her.

So here is the set, I had seen this technique on Pinterest and wanted to create it for some time, I used distress inks, sponges, some Technique Tuesday stamp, love the details it offers for little scenes and Inkadinkado stamps. All of them have little additions of liquid pearls and my fav- sequins. Some have wooden flowers, butterfly or sequins created into a heart.

P1050092

Here is each one seperate with the matching envelope. TO create each card I tore a piece of paper and stuck it with post it notes to create a space in between, used distress inks to sponge colors, some colors are different as they blended into each other. The I stamped a grid pattern from Verve on them with wild honey distress ink. Removed the paper and stamped with black versafine ink. Sentiments are from MFT.

P1050096

P1050095

P1050094

P1050093

Here they are in a box made with W R Memory envelope punch board.

P1050097

I am entering it in Simon Says Stamp– Clean and Simple; Use Your Stuff– flowers; Stamp and Create- Say it with words; Addicted to Stamps- things with wings and Word Art Wednesday– Anything goes.
