This is a long post. There are nine cards in all. These are all for the Love Fest challenge at Splitcoast stampers. I was on a card making frenzy and so enjoyed it.

This is for Puppy Love– card with a warm critter

P1040540

I sponged watercolor paper with distress inks and then stamped with Versafine Ink, I used a ribbon and twine for the thread of affection. The main panel was cut with MFT postage die. I added brad and a wooden button for the final touch.

I am also adding it in Really Reasonable Ribbon- Show me the green

The inside is simple

P1040541

This is for Lovey Dovey Spring- by Stamping Bella

P1040552

The main panel is another diecut from MFT. The image is from Fred She Said- Doodled FloralĀ Image. I love their images. I colored it with copics and paper pieced and colored the yellow flower and the leaves. I added white gel pen for effect. I love the sequins paper peeking through the lace. The saying is from MFT Fabulous sayings.

I am adding this to Great Impressions- Spring CelebrationsĀ and Simply Create Too- Shop in your stash– all the items used are from my stash.

The inside

P1040553

This is for Doodle Do- Taylored Expressions

P1040530

This card was heavily influenced by Jennifer McGuire. I love her videos and ideas. I added a doodled border and colored it with copics. I love the feathers and sentiment from MFT. I added some buttons for texture. When I embossed my feathers a spot did not have embossed powder on it, I took a brush and added embossing ink and then added the powder to even it out.

I am adding it to Challenge 4 everybody- Anything goes– this is a 5.5×5.5 card.

The inside

P1040532

This is for the Inspiration Challenge- By Cat’s Pajamas, love the birdhouse and the iron gates.

P1040533I used lots of MFT diecuts. papers are from different paper pads and scrap. the corners looked like the gates, I added pearls to the branch and house.

I am adding this to Simon Says Stamp- Anything goes with pearls

The inside

P1040535

This is for the Color Challenge-Sweet n’Sassy. Colors were white, red, pink and brown with additional ingredient of Love.

P1040547I had this lovely out of print paper that had browns and pinks and I thought it was perfect. I added MFT die and stamp. Love this saying with this heart. Added some sequins to balance the card.

I am adding it to Challenges 4 everybody- anything goes

The inside

P1040548

This is for Let’s Score- Scor Pal

P1040542It is very hard to capture the score lines on a picture, they are above and below the sentiment. This is by far my favorite embossing folder. Then I added the MFT -Fabulous sayings(this is an awesome stamp set) so many ways to dress up a statement. Love it. I added a Pretty Posey die colored with alcohol inks on glossy accent paper. I added a pearl andĀ a coupleĀ rose leaves.

I am adding this to Jo’s Scrap Shack- Florals

Here is the inside

P1040544Scor lines are added above and below the yellow paper. and a little flower.

This is for Die Cut Crazy- Simon Says Stamp. I was amazed how fast this was done once I thought of what to do. I

P1040557I diecut some LJD butterflies and Fancy butterfly by MPD- both from MFT. Is tamped the big dots on the butterfly underneath the fancy butterfly. is tamped corresponding inks on the other butterflies, all with MFT inks. I added colored pearls, colored the red ones with R28 and was done.

I am adding this to Fashionable Stamping Challenge- Anything goes

Here is the inside

P1040538

I choose Classy and Elegant for the challenge by Paper Smooches.

P1040546I stenciled a rose using MFT stencil and MFT inks-Olive, Jelly bean green. RazzleBerry and Lemon drop ink, Then I added a ribbon. This ribbon was given to me by my secret admirer(sshhh, don’t tell anyone it is my 8 year old daughter). She finds little things to give me wraps it up and writes- for Mommy from your secret admirer. It is adorable. I added a little MFT sentiment.

I am adding it to CAS on Sunday- color me Pretty; and Addicted to Stamps and More- CAS

I forgot to do an inside, will work on it.

Here is my last card for the day

Lots of layers- Paper Perfect Crafting

P1040550I distressed all the layers to add a layered look and make it more distinct. The main panel I die cut and colored the die cuts with distress markers and water. The background is peacock feathers and tumbled glass. The sentiment is from Verve.

butterflies, cardstock, celebration, distress markers, glitter, handmade card, handmade flowers, MFT dienamics, MFT stamps, My Mind's Eye, stickles

I made this using MFT sketch 150,Ā I took a few liberties with it. The between strip I used hemp cord asĀ I wanted my saying to be the focus.

Pardon the photograph,Ā I will clean it all by tomorrow hopefully,Ā I have no electricity andĀ I am trying to get this up on time.

P1040209

Since I had no electricityĀ I could not use my vagaond,Ā I did find the pinking circle in my scraps- it is from the MFT lollipop treats., I did not use the fishtail banner as it would hide my sentiment. I think this MFT sentiment is perfect for the circumstance.Ā I needed to use it. I added distress markers on the background of the stamp with water brush and wipes. ThenĀ I added it to a square that I pierced holes with the help of a plastic canvas.Ā The blu raspeberry ink was used to stamp the MFT-LJD textile background stamp- it is beautiful andĀ I used an EK success punch on it’s side. The butterfly was also colored with distress markers, stickes and some pink glitter in it’s middle body. A pearl swirl completed the card.

I love this sentiment, so that the focus would be the sentiment I did the bordered technique, I had wanted to try it, I do ahve some mistakes but I guess I need to take more care when I do this again. I colored two flower centers with R5 and added sakura glitter pem, some sequins, distress marker and glossy accents to teh leaves and the card was done. The sentiment is from MFT and so are the lovely flowers and leaves- those are from the Pretty pocket stamp.

butterflies, cardstock, celebration, copics, distress ink, distress markers, flower, Fred She Said, handmade card, handmade flowers, martha Stewart punch, memory box die, MFT dienamics, pearls, ribbon, stickles, summer

I used tons of Fred She Said images for this card, love how it came out.

P1030714I started with cutting a window from memory box die, i had got this a long time ago. i also used the Hello die from MFT stamps and colored it with pickled rapberry and salty ocean distress ink.

Whenever I use a Fred she said image I save the extras I have printed or not used, so I was just looking through that and saw this fun scene- from Smelling the cherry blossom that fit perfectly in the window. I colored it with copic markers and distress ink. the birds are from Emma Caroler, flowers are from the new Happy flowers.Ā I added some Martha Stewart leaf punch.

The flowers and leaves in the corner bunch are from the first set I owned from FSS and still my favorite polka dotty flowers, I colored them with distress inks and embossed them with a stylus, added pearls.Ā I wanted more foilage so added Martha Stewart leaves.

I added a ribbon to the card before adding the window, lots of pop dots used on the card window and flowers. Added butterflies from Flutterbies for your flowersĀ and some stickles on it, colored with copic markers.

here is a close up of the scene

P1030716here is the inside of the card

P1030718I am entering this card in a few challenges
