Hello everyone
I made this card for the last guest designer at MFT. They have some new stuff coming up so this will be the last contest. The layout is fabulous.
I first cut the Xpress it with postage stamp die and then stamped the Doodle Garden Sweet friend on Xpress it paper and then colored it with my copics. I loved how she has all this space to color. I masked her and did the sky and added the grass.
Skin-E01,E11, R20 and 30
Hair- E11,13,15,44- I followed Michele’s tutorial here to do the hair, I loved that she showed arrows for the direction of the hair, it made a whole lot of sense to me.
Dress and headband- V00,12,04,06,15
Pants and frills- YR00, 12 and 23
Grass- YG03 and 06 as the base, then added YG95,97 and 99, G07.
Heart- R29,22 and 05.
Sky- tumbled glass distress ink using MFT mini scalloped edge.

I then started the background. I used LJD pretty poppies. I stamped them with alcohol inks and then when dry, i restamped it with versamark ink and embossed them with red embossing ink. after a few mins, i distressed them with scattered straw distress ink and then added MFT grape jelly ink for the text from the same set.
I cut two medium scallop border and added liquid pearls to them. Let them dry and diecut two flag stax and added the hi sentiment from the DG. After all this went about assembling the card. this was a blast.
I diecut three roses from both mini rolled rose size and added a liquid pearl in between, added stickles, they were cut from My mind’s eye Mother’s love. I also added some string pearls and royal leaves.

other additions to the card is the purple dotted ribbon behind her and little out of print paper peeking from it that was distressed with milled lavender to match. Some Say it with crystals on the corner, you can see them well in the inside. I used a distressing tool to distress all paper. OH, this was a fun card to make so i have my fingers crossed.
