I used MFT sketch 263. It was a simple sketch and so this was quick. this was made for my son’s best friend’s bday.

imageI dry embossed houndstooth on white card stock. added a sentiment on a strip, cut the balloons and colored them with dye inks. everything is popped with fun foam.

I am entering it in Simon Says Stamp– best friends

here is my card

SNOW

I used Emma and the snowball, she is colored with copics and paper pieced. There are stickles and white enamel paint for the snow. I also added MFT snowflakes and alphabets to make the saying.

Here is a quick tutorial on how to digitally paper piece an image.

first print the image the way you want it on a computer paper, (all the girls are 2 inch in width so I could make a 5×7 card) the thin cheap one, it should not be thick.

P1040257

then stick the printed paper on top of it with removable tape, I used post it tape here

P1040258run it through your printer

P1040259now you have the image in the same size as your image, do note where u put your tape, for example the ball of the cap is on my tape, since I did not need it, it was ok.

now print your image on your copic paper or any paper that you will use for your card, here it is semi colored and just the pieces to show,. When I looked at this I saw that I had colored the hands too, lol,  they should be gloves, my card has it changed, luckily the colors I choose are dark enough to hide that.

here is another look at the finished card

SNOW
I am adding it to Simon Says stamp– snow and Pile it on- P is for paper piecing.
