Here is my card for week 3. The challenge at Loves Rubber stamp is Shabby Chic.
here is my attempt at shabby chic there is lots of distressing and adding ink, the inside and outside. I have no electricity since Sunday, I am glad I made this on saturday, can you imagine all this die cutting?
Before coloring the image- Paper shelter image- In the 20s- they are the sponsors at Loves Rubber Stamps with Copics, I added frantage embossing enamel and heat set it from underneath. I cut three diferent layers with oval stax, distress them added victorian velvet distress ink. one of the oval stax has pearls arund it. I added many dies to this card. I cut the gears from MFT-MPD time pieces dienamics and colored them with distress ink. I added different papers from My mind’s eye and layered them over two plain cardstock in yelow and purple. all of the layers were distressed with a distressing tool. I added a little peek of the MFT chicken wire dienamics, love it. I cut many different flowers MFT- mini rolled roses,MFT- rolled daisy and MFT rolled flower. I then added MFT leafy flourish. I die cut two butterflies from MFT-LJD blissful butterflies-and stamped it from the same set using MFT inks. added some gems in the centers. added lace and ribbon and a ribbon bow with a pearl in the center. I felt something was missing once done, then I cut a MFT notched tag and added a sentiment from it. Perfect. I have also used stickles, MFT smooth white ink, pearls,Tim Holtz distress tool, , glossy accents, sticky dots.
