Altenew inks, birthday wishes, cardstock, celebration, distress ink, handmade card, handmade flowers, happy birthday, MFT dienamics, papertrey stamps, Papertrey stencils, pearls, versafine ink

I made this using papertrey stamps, and stencils. I used the make it Monday technique. this was different, I have used stencils but this is the first time I colored and then used stencils. Next time I would use darker colors to add on top so it is more vibrant though I like this subtle look.

image

I started with inking spun sugar distress ink them altenew coral and ruby red, then yellows. Once done I used the three stencils, I like how they are separated so masking is not needed. Then I stamped the images and die cut the sentiment thrice. Added some pearls for the final touch.

I am adding this to Creative moments- anything goes, sentiment in front and Simon Says Stamp-leap in the unknown- new technique.

balloons, birthday wishes, bling, cardstock, celebration, embossing powder, glossy accents, handmade card, happy birthday, hearts, liquid pearls, MFT dienamics, MFT ink, MFT stamps, sequins, stickles

I made this MFT sketch 253, loved the slant angle and then placed balloons where the stars go and then it went a little overboard.

image

This is for my sister, it is her birthday tomorrow and mine today. So works for us both.

I have trouble with watercoloring so love the MFT Watercolor drops as it gives me a controlled background to do. I added the sentiment with versa fine and clear embossed it all. added the balloons with blu raspberry, electric red and orange fizz inks. I colored paper and then cut it. stickles- still wet-Sequins and liquid pearls finished the card.

Inside is simple with razzleberry ink.

I am adding this to craft your passion– Anything goes.

I have two cards today.

The first one is done by my 9 year old for her cousin. imageI love how she stamped the background. her cousin likes baking so she added some baking elements around her happy birthday. I will enter this in Simon says stamp challenge for kids- anything goes.

Here is one I made for mft sketch 240. The repetition concept in the class was great to conceptualize the four blocks.

image

i used BP 13 for the main panel, added a quikutz square. I stamped whimsical wishes stamp with cracked pistachio and abandoned coral distress inks, love the colors and added a rolled flower and rose leaves colored in the same colors. I cut “you” from love and adore you die and added the word thank from another MFT stamp. I am adding it to Great Impressions- add a sentiment. I am also entering it in repetitive stamping in MFT class

birthday wishes, bling, cardstock, celebration, copics, glossy accents, handmade card, handmade flowers, happy birthday, MFT dienamics, MFT ink, MFT stamps, sequins, Watercolor, white gel pen

I made this using MFT sketch 237. It took me some time to wrap myself around this sketch. I am playing with the summer school at MFT and used secondary colors for my card-orange purple and green.

imageI started with panels from Blueprint 13 and 15. I used MFT inks in several colors- orange fizz, safety orange, tangy orange, jellybean green, sour apple green, grapesicle and grape jelly inks. I stamped my favorite modern blooms set for the background and then added the colors with a water brush very loosely to the side panel and stamped the Written in watercolor stamp for the sentiment. added a white heart colored with safety orange and some stamped hearts. All hearts have glossy accents. I used sequins again in the three secondary colors. My sentiment did not stamp well as the flag stax was slightly raised from the panel so copic liner helped it all smooth out.

Here is the inside

imageI AM ADDING THIS TO THE CHEERFUL STAMP PAD– HEARTS AND FLOWERS; SWEET STAMPING– NO DESIGNER PAPER AND LOVE TO SCRAP– ANYTHING GOES. Also adding to Simon Says Stamp- inspired by I– inking.

Have you checked the latest honey lip balm? I am having rave reviews for it at the farmer’s market. Check all of them here.

Today is my sons b’day imageSo I used MFT sketch 236. I changed it where the circle is underneath and the rectangle with round edges- in this case the phone is on the top. He loves his phone so I thoguht this was right for him. Background was stenciled and added some liquid pearls.

Here is the card his sister made him, she loves colors so she stenciled the stars in different colors and embossed the sentiment. I have just now let her use the heat gun but it still scares me.

image

I love how she did the inside, it is cute

I am entering my card in Simon says stamp and crafty friends- both have anything goes.

Remember foot scrubs are 20% off this month. check them here.
