birthday wishes, cardstock, celebration, handmade card, handmade flowers, Hero Arts, MFT stamps, pearls, rosebest, stickles, white gel pen

I made this card after I saw a video by Jennifer McGuire on shadow boxes.

My friend had a birthday and I had just bought this stamp from Heroarts and I thought this would be perfect.

So this is the front.

When you open the card this is what you see

For instructions on making this card, please go to Jennifer McGuire’s blog. But after I assembled the Basic box. I started with my panels. Since I had cut the oval for the inside, I used that on the outside of my card. I stamped the leaves on the outside, added a sentiment from mft stamps. Added the lilies from heartfelt creations die, colored with distress inks. The inside panel I colored with distress inks and then stamped the layered parrot, it looks so beautiful in real life. I stamped the leaves and added tiny flowers colored with distress inks from Impression Obsession dies.

Hers is another card my daughter made with the same stamps and Gina K design inks.

I love the bright colors and how everything pops out of the card. The second generation stamping and the color combinations.

Thank you for visiting and for your sweet comments.

I made a sympathy card with Papertrey ink Gran’s garden stamp.

I started with a black panel, rounded the corner with my corner chomper. I took white kuretake paints and added the splatters. This is a new technique for me and I am liking the look.I stamped three flowers and bunch of leaves, die cut them. On one I added glossy accents and on two stickles. let them dry overnight. I used an MFT stamp for the sentiment that i white embossed with hero arts white embossing powder and versa mark. I arranged the flowers and added sequins. I attached it to a card.

I added small bud detail in the inside.

I am adding this to a couple of challenges- Crafter’s Castle– Anything goes and share a tehnique(splatters) and Simply Papercraft-Anything goes

Hello everyone

here is part 2 of 2 posts- happy new year in 2018.

My instagram handle is Zehrarosebest.

Here are some cards I made, they are all mini cards.

They use products from mftstamps, stencils, inks. The flowers wer die cut then colored.  I used distress oxide inks with stencil. I added rani chawla crystals to make them stand out. I added a pearl in the center of the flower.

The unscented soap is very good with oatmeal.

the next set of cards has layering koi fish from hero arts. I love the colors and layers. The tea tree with eucalyptus oil is 4 oz and has French green clay that goes on so well.

Hello everyone here is part 4 of 5 posts to show all that was done in 2017.

My instagram handle is Zehrarosebest.

Here are some cards I made, they are all mini cards.

These sets all use mft bitty bears, love the die and stamp. I colored ten of them and added them to different cards. The first one is colored with copies, in the background I added raindrops and clouds and added stickles, once dry I popped the bears. The second one I popped the bear, hand drew some water and added stickles on the fish.

The tea tree and eucalyptus help you feel so calm and centered.

In this set the first card the bears were colored with colored pencils. The background was created with a post it mask for the sun and then masked on both sides straight and added some distress oxide inks. I popped the bears and had one of them hold a heart with glossy accents on the top. I messed up the sentiment so i took a black strip, heat embossed the sentiment in white and popped it on the top. The second card i just added painted globs from mft stamp and then added the bears. they also are colored with prism colored pencils. added some gems and little stickles on the cupcake.

These are orange lip balms.

Now this set was bears colored in comics. The one on the right was real quick. I popped the bear, added a sentiment and then added gems all around it. The one on the left i stamped from an old mft stamps the paint swipe in different rainbow colors and curved the sentiment on the top. Added the bear at the bottom

The lip balms are honey.

Here is the last card i made with mft bitty bears

I added some balloons from an old stamp set. I colored it with comics and popped the bear with a ballon that was glittered. The other card was just balloons stamped all around and i added buttons and novo drops. A small sentiment in between.

These are my favorite soaps in 1 oz size. They are grain filled honeysuckle. The are great to combat dryness.

Here is a sympathy card set. I love how it came out.

The first card is done in booked background. The background was colored with different distress oxide inks, the white was stamped on the top. After that dried i took sweet n sassy stamps and stamped the lavender buds and the grass. I added matching color butterflies. I added a sentiment on the top. I had to stamp the lavender buds three times to get it to be visible and the MISTI was awesome for that.

The second card uses flower dies from heart felt creations that were colored with distress inks. I added a  sentiment and some stickles. I love stickles.

The lavender soap is in 1 oz. Great for guests and for travel.

This set is my new favorite hero arts layering fish die.

I used all kinds of gina K inks. This stamp has four layers and each builds on the other.  The die cut makes it help be focused. I heat embossed the sentiment on black strip of paper and then popped it up.

The next card was stamped by stamping on a rough piece of color and then stamping on the card to make it blurry. I used mft ink on it and these are mft stamps.

The lip balm is chocolate.

See You in the next post. All products on my website.

Hello everyone here is part 2 of 4 posts to show all that was done in 2017. My instagram handle is Zehrarosebest.

Here are some cards I made, they are all mini cards.

They use products from mftstamps, stencils, inks. The rose is from Fredshesaid and colored with copics. The golden sentiment is gold heat embossed. The wake me up soap is filled with peppermint leaves, peppermint and spearmint essential oil. It helps you be rejuvenated. I love the scent in my room after a bath with it. Made with pure oils it is a luxury.

the next set of cards has more coloring and uses lots of diecuts. The lemon, sage and ginger soap is one of my best sellers.

Here are close ups.

Here is one more set of two cards. The lavender soap is great for skin that erupts a lot.

Closeups, I love this fish from hero arts, and the flower is from honeybee stamps.

see You in the next post. All products on my website.

Hello everyone

Here are some cards I have made but unable to post.

This was a card with a new stamp from waffle flowers, it is illustrated by Helen Drdik, do check her work. Colored with topics and added glossy accents.

Here is the inside

This was a simple card with Hero arts flower

I loved adding the white highlights.

This was a card made with no supplies and one I needed on the spot.

I handwrote the sentiment and added things that were around.

I enjoyed making this card for backdropinabox-she was celebrating 100 K followers, and she is inspiring to follow.

I had these backgrounds made and used it to cut the flowers, love the vibrancy and dylusion sentiment.

This card was made with honeybee stamps- this country bloom stamp is lovely and I was inspired by Jennifer mcguire shaker card using tulle.

Thanks for visitng and for your sweet comments. Hope you enjoyed seeing some cards that were made.

The next post will have five more cards.

Altenew stamps, birthday wishes, cardstock, celebration, distress ink, flower, glossy accents, handmade card, handmade flowers, Hero Arts, MFT dienamics, stickles, watercoloring

I tried watercoloringon day 14 of The daily marker challenge. I used Hero Arts old flower stamp and some Altenew stamp. The Sentiment is MFT.

imageLove how it came to. I first stamped it on watercolor paper. colored with distress inks-fossilized amber, abandoned coral, picked raspberry, milled lavender, seedless preserve, mowed lawn. I did not like the blue background so cut the image and put it on another panel. the blue wash in the background is not as visible but is sharp in the card. Added sentiment and some hearts from the same set. I added lots of tickles to the image.

I am adding the to Hero Arts– fabulous flowers; word art wednesday anything goes and the pencil case-more than one- I have more than one flower and hearts.

thank you for visiting and for your sweet comment.
