I loved the Sweet Sunday sketch and I decided to use soft colors. I will be entering it in MFT super card contest. I am loving this contest, this is my third entry for it. It makes me want to do things differently.
I started with a 5.5×5.5 card. I love my new abstract stencil and I sponged MFT inks-Banana Split, Spearmint and Sno cone. The look is nice and crisp. Then i took a small square and added the grid stencil with the same colors. I have a staff that is leaving and she will be missed. I wanted her to know that and so I hand wrote it with a versa mark pen and gold embossed it. I diecut the rolled daisy and the small rose in yellow yardstick and the royal rose in blue pattern paper. I diecut the leafy flourish in another pattern paper. Added some pearls and stickles. Of course when I finished assembling the card realized I had forgotten a band in the middle that I had thought of adding twine with a bow to the side- Let’s pretend it is there:) Did u see the envelope, totally lucked out in finding similar colored paper.
Inside- simple with some stenciling so I can still write a lovely message.
Thank u for visiting and for your sweet comments.
