birthday wishes, cardstock, celebration, copics, distress ink, embossing powder, glossy accents, handmade card, happy birthday, MFT dienamics, MFT ink, MFT stamps, stars, winka stella brush

My best friend had a birthday on Saturday so here is the card using MFT sketch 190. I just love it, it is bold and bright.

P1050300

It uses a couple of techniques.

the background I first embossed it in white using an MFT concentric circle and then added Seedless preserves, faded jeans and festive berries distress ink. The round banner has MPD graduated stars emossed in holographic EP. it gives a nice shine. I stamped the word birthday but it did not stamp well so i colored it in with a copic marker. I dies cut the word Happy three times in different matching colors. Added winka stella brush(love it) and then glossy accents. I then added some blue stars and winka stella shie on them. they were popped up.

The inside has a sentiment I just love. I found this stamp at Joann from Jillibean, it has a few sentiments I can see myself using.

I am also entering it in

I made this using MFT sketch 189, I used some liberties with this sketch, masculine cards are hard for me, so this took some time. I eliminated the two crosees on the top and the round circle- I did add a sequins on that spot.

P1050269

I used MFT dies, ink and stamp on this card. I love the dotted line, it adds great interest. All parts besides the fishtail flag and fishnet die are from Blueprint 11,13 and 15. For the stars I added dry glitter with glossy accents.

the inside is a mix of left over stars.

I am adding it to some challenges

Loves rubber stamps-Out of season; Crafting at the weekend- Anything goes; Crafty calendar- anything goes; Tando Creative challenges- Lovely layers and Word art wednesday- Anything goes.

Thank you for visitng and for your sweet comments.

I made this using MFT sketch 177. I needed a masculine card and I loved the use of stars by Michele, so I went with that. Michele, thank you for the inspiration.

happy borthday to you
I used Blueprints for the blue panel and then chevron plate on the top. I added this on pop dots. I cut a rectangle from the Rectangle stax and embossed the sentiment from borthday greetings with Recollections charcoal embossing powder. A flag stax and popped stars complete the card.

The inside has another sentiment and three stars that come form the snowflake die. They were dipped in MFT nigthshift blue, lemon drop and electric red ink.

P1050135

I am also entering it in Little Miss Muffet– anything goes; Challenges 4 everybody– anything goes; Whimsy stamps– two or more die cuts and Word Art Wednesday– anything goes.

Thank you for visiting and for your sweet comments.
