I received a gift certificate from Impression Obsessions and that gave me a good reason to shop:) I got lots of dies and when they came home I had to create this fall card. It was a lot of die cutting but so fun.
THis card was greatly influenced by Kittie, I love her work and find her cards great pieces of art. I love her tutorials and her sharing of her art.
I first colored a piece of media art paper in MFT paver red, safety orange and yellow for the apples and colored olive green, fuse green and factory green for the leaves. I cut tons of apples and leaves. I used the bare tree, after assembling the card I realized I had not colored the tree so added some copic coloring minimally. I added some grass, a grass border using MFT die and I love the small birds, oh they give the perfect touch. After the card was done I added red stickles. The background was done with tumbled glass distress ink. The pail/ bushel was colored with copics.
here is a simple inside
I truly had fun creating this card. I am entering it in Impression Obsession fall challenge(Just Perfect timing); ladybug crafts- autumn; Stamping Sensations– Warm Autumn colors; Word art wednesday- anything goes.
