This is the last series in cards that I made in 2017.

My instagram handle is Zehrarosebest.

Here are some cards I made.

This is a set of mini cards.

I used an old stamp in up set. I colored it with comics and used distress oxide ink in the background. I added a sentiment and some sequins.

The unscented soap has oatmeal and wonderful to use.

Here is a card that was inspired by Natasha Kara. Some simple topic coloring in the background and a circle diet sentiment. I added lots of novo drops. the shine is from Tonic shimmer pen.

This set of card was all stamping in different mft inks and adding novo drops. The stamp is from mft stamps.

The lemon sage and ginger soap is one of my best sellers and it has calendula petals which is heaven on the skin. These are 1oz size soaps.

This card came pretty quick, i love the lily stamp from Altenew and try different colors. I used the MISTI to get perfect alignment on both corners. I used altenew inks and stamped an mft birthday stamp in beterrn. Sequins finished this card.

Here is the last card for 2017.

This card started with a background using mft watercolor stamp. I added mft ink and water. I stamped a sentiment once dry. Added a paint swipe. then stamped presents on a separate card stock and die cut and popped it on the card. Added confetti stamp around it and some sequins.

Here are embroidery pieces I finished in 2017.

See You in the next post with cards in 2018. All products on my website.

Hello everyone

Here is the third part of 2017 cards.

I do keep my instagram account active, the handle is zehrarosebest.

The first set of cards:

I love the rose from mft stamps. it is a good layering rose and a beauty by itself, I used mft inks and added rajnichawla crystals to make it shine. This is an mft sentiment. I have added glossy accents all over. The next card i used an acrylic block and added different distress oxide inks over it, sprayed water and stamped that. Once it was dry I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment as it took at least three attempts to make it dark and crisp.                                                                                                 The rose soap has rose clay and is so soothing. It is made with olive, palm and coconut oil. It has shea butter, castor oil and sweet almond oil to fatten them.

This card was so much fun to do. The card was stamped with an mft background stamp with versa mark ink and then embossed it with ranger gold embossing powder. I love the shirt die as it is a perfect focal point. I stamped an old mft flourish and added a birthday stamp, all using mft electric red ink. and the inside has the flourish

This set is colorful and I love this stamps. The roses are from mft, the lily is from Altenew. I used both mft and altenew inks here. On the roses I embossed the sentiment and on the lily I just stamped over the lily. I also added stickles and sequins for the final touch. The lavender soap has lavender buds and smells heavenly. The essential oils and the ingredients helps soothe the skin.

The set above was cool to do. The first was stenciled with tim holtz stencil with distress oxide inks and then the sentiment was stamped. The butterflies are from mft and then stickles were spread on it. For the second card i stamped the hero arts flower, masked it and added leaves. After i colored it with zig clean color pens I added a sentiment. I added glossy accents on the center of the flower and popped a ladybug on it with glossy accents on the top. I added a simple sentiment to it.

The lip balms are awesome. They have cocoa butter, castor oil, sweet almond oil and beeswax. The bubblegum flavor is loved by many.

The set below was quick cards to do. The first one was all mft dies layered over one another and then the sentiment stamped just before i adhered the leaves. I added a few gems. for the second card it was all embossed snowflakes from mft. And then embossed with versa mark ink and different embossing powders. i added a four layer sentiment. I cute it from three white card stock pieces and one on the top in pink.

The lip balms are Pina colada.

The above cards were from mft stamps. The first one is just layering of stamps and mixed leaves from another stamp. I added a ribbon and the sentiment at the bottom. I added some rajnichawla crystals. For the second card i masked the center and then stamped the flowers on both sides. I colored them with gel pens. I added glossy accents and a twine for the final touch.

The soaps are 1 oz. They come in 1oz, 4oz and 1 pound size.

The last card for this post was for a birthday.

This was just stenciling with distress inks. I added a sentiment and some small stars and confetti in black ink. I added some novo drops since this was for a male.

Have you seen my soaps or lip balms, the body butters are awesome.

Hello everyone

I realized that I have not been keeping up with my blog in 2017. I have made many cards since July, so for the next four posts I will have all cards to catch up.

I do keep my instagram account active, the handle is zehrarosebest.

Here are six cards.

This uses sweet n sassy land scape images and lots of distress oxide inks. I love how creamy the inks look on it. The sentiment is heat embossed from mftstamps. Added twine and brads and pearls to finish the Card.

This card was made by my daughter for her cousin. She colored the background and added a die cur background from spellbinders. Love the Nuvo drops on it. The ribbon makes it into a perfect gift.
Here are some embroidery pieces I made, this is huck  embroidery.
Here is a card I made using the same die from spellbinders amazing grace, but coloring the die and adding heartfelt creations flowers to it. Love this sentiment from Altenew.

I decided to make some mini cards and loved how they turned out, they were all done to say Thank you to my customers for their orders.
There were so many products used for these. mft stamps, distress inks, honeybee lotus stamp, zig clean color pens, stencils and flower dies. These were quick and fun to do. This lavender soap is so soothing and it has lavender buds that give u the perfect exfoliation.

Have you seen my soaps or lip balms, the body butters are awesome. Go to my website http://www.rosebest.com

I made this loosely based on MFT sketch 269 and moved it vertically. This was for a dear friend who had a loss.

image

It took me three tries to make this card background. I used zig pens to swipe the color and then blended with water, I added some more color that I did not blend, heat set it. Added the leaves with versa fine ink. the sentiment was embossed on black cut with postage stax(I use this stax a lot). added a rose from the previous pieces i did not like.   Initially i had made the sentiment piece with a blue flag stax but the sentiment did not emboss well and i had to let that go. I added matching leaves die to the rose in black and white. added the twine for the lower flag stax in the sketch. added some pearls fr pop.

bling, brad, cardstock, celebration, copics, distress ink, embossing powder, handmade card, handmade flowers, hearts, MFT dienamics, MFT stamps, roses, stickles, twine, versafine ink, whimsy stamp

I used an old whimsy stamp, I had lost this a year ago and thought i wouldn’t find it, but I just found it a few days ago and just couldn’t wait to color it. This is for a dear friend. I used the retro sketch 200 on it’s side, seemed a good fit for this stamp.

imageI started with coloring this with copics, in this I have blended the pants again as I felt the lines were sharp. I added white gel pen, there is ribbons, twine, stickles and some glossy accents. Brads for a whimsical touch. I used tumbled glass around the image. MFT sentiment was stamped with versa fine and embossed.

Close up of original coloring without stickles, white gel pen or glossy accents.

imageI  am adding this to Whimsy stamp challenge– with love is and Simon Says stamp– have a heart. Also adding it to Word art Wednesday – anything goes, adding this to the ribbon girl blog– love AND THE OUTLAWZ CHALLENGE for twisted thursday.

cardstock, celebration, distress ink, flower, handmade card, handmade flowers, MFT dienamics, MFT ink, MFT stamps, pearls, sequins, twine, Want 2 scrap pearls

I made this using MFT sketch 256. I used the concept of feathers and element of five for the scallops.

image

I started with a panel that I edged with coral distress ink. Feathers were colored with fossil amber, abandoned coral, mermaid lagoon and cracked pistachio distress inks. The scallop border was also colored using those inks. Colored the flower trio with that and then added a pearl with green and yellow mix twine. My sentiment was cut with white cardstock and grey felt for shadow. Sequins was the final touch.
