Altenew inks, birthday wishes, cardstock, celebration, distress ink, handmade card, handmade flowers, happy birthday, MFT dienamics, papertrey stamps, Papertrey stencils, pearls, versafine ink

I made this using papertrey stamps, and stencils. I used the make it Monday technique. this was different, I have used stencils but this is the first time I colored and then used stencils. Next time I would use darker colors to add on top so it is more vibrant though I like this subtle look.

image

I started with inking spun sugar distress ink them altenew coral and ruby red, then yellows. Once done I used the three stencils, I like how they are separated so masking is not needed. Then I stamped the images and die cut the sentiment thrice. Added some pearls for the final touch.

I am adding this to Creative moments- anything goes, sentiment in front and Simon Says Stamp-leap in the unknown- new technique.

bling, brad, cardstock, celebration, copics, distress ink, embossing powder, handmade card, handmade flowers, hearts, MFT dienamics, MFT stamps, roses, stickles, twine, versafine ink, whimsy stamp

I used an old whimsy stamp, I had lost this a year ago and thought i wouldn’t find it, but I just found it a few days ago and just couldn’t wait to color it. This is for a dear friend. I used the retro sketch 200 on it’s side, seemed a good fit for this stamp.

imageI started with coloring this with copics, in this I have blended the pants again as I felt the lines were sharp. I added white gel pen, there is ribbons, twine, stickles and some glossy accents. Brads for a whimsical touch. I used tumbled glass around the image. MFT sentiment was stamped with versa fine and embossed.

Close up of original coloring without stickles, white gel pen or glossy accents.

bling, cardstock, celebration, flower, glossy accents, handmade card, handmade flowers, Kuretake zig pens, MFT dienamics, MFT stamps, sequins, versafine ink, Zig clean color pens

I made this using MFT sketch 248. I knew I wanted to color with Kathy Rac coloring challenge. I love this Suzy’s stamp set so that is what I used.

imageFor the panels I used BP13 and 5. I stamped the sentiment with versa fine ink and the flowers on the side using inlay technique. All stamps are MFT. I colored using zig color pens, love it’s brightness. I added a mini hybrid flower and rose leaves. I added sequins for the final touch.

Here is the inside.

bling, cardstock, celebration, copics, glossy accents, handmade card, handmade flowers, MFT dienamics, MFT ink, MFT stamps, sequins, versafine ink, wink a stella pen

I love the MFT blissful blossoms and I loved the way Suzy had used it, so I tried a similar way. I used the MFT sketch 245. Pretty pink posh is having a guest designer contest and the colors in the first card is what I went with. I have never officially applied for designer team so wish me luck. I used Pretty Pink Posh sequins, the flowers were a perfect match for the card. This will be one more addition to my Super Star contest.!!!there are so many lovely entries in already

image

I did it all with zig pens. I started the outside panel that I popped on the card. I loved Jennifer’s recent video on softening the background with white, so the panel was too sharp and I took smooth white MFT ink and used it with my fave- yes I can’t put it down grid stencil. I stamped the sentiment from delicate poppies and the flowers from blissful blossoms in versafine ink and clear embossed it all. Colored with zig pens and then added wink of stella, the whole card shimmers, it is hard to capture in pics. I added glossy accents to the flowers and some glossy accents all over the card like dew drops, I wish it was as visible. I added Pretty Pink Posh flowers and a little doodle stamp- Sunny Day Doodles borders and accents under the sentiment. The inside has a sweet flower and leaf.

My daughter made a card for her best friend who gave her a gift on return at school, she also got her an owl coloring book and a bracelet. Hopefully they will be friends for life, they so care for each other.

cardstock, celebration, distress ink, glossy accents, handmade card, handmade flowers, MFT dienamics, microbeads, Rose Best, sequins, stickles, versafine ink, viva glitter pen, zig color pens

I made this card with the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch, loved the simplicity of it. And Yes Fred She Said is back with her stamps and I love the new Swallowtail butterfly, I have two cards in separate posts for it.

imageI love coloring Fred She Said images and these are pretty. I colored the fall flowers with Zig color pens– love how bright they are and the swallowtail butterfly with them. I added viva glitter some microbeads, glossy accents and sequins for finishing touches. the sentiment is from an old Jellibean stamp. MFT dies used for the main panel and center panel which I inlaid and added foam sheet to.

Inside has an MFT butterfly, again colored with zig pens- they are wonderful- worth the investment, I got mine from eBay but took forever to come as they were coming from Japan- I have the 24 set now wish I had got the 48 one. I think there are a total of 80.

imageI am adding this to Love to Scrap– anything goes, Crafting from the Heart– Always anything goes; Incy Wincy– things with wings.

Even though our website shows only 4oz soap bars, we have 1 pound bars upon request, it helps save you money and use more, waste less.
