I made this using MFT sketch 238 and MFT color challenge, the colors were too sweet so I used them.

I started with a panel cut from BP13. I stenciled bold paisley with jellybean green, brushed the sides with pickled raspberry distress ink. stamped the vertical greetings sentiment with steel gray on a sentimental label die added the formal flourish colored with shabby shutters marker and limeade ink. cut three rolled roses and added razzleberry ink with pickled raspberry distress ink. Added viva hologram pen and the white pen, it is wet, hopefully will look a little different in the morning with shine and sparkle.

I made this using the Sweet Sunday Sketch, I found it CAS and so took some time to figure out how I was going to use the images- yes they are from Fred She Said, she is back with some sweet images. I love the Swallowtail Butterfly and this time I colored it with Copics.

I started with MFT die BP 13 and added the MFT paisley stencil with texture paint. Once dry added panels form other BP. Stamped the sentiment in versa fine ink. The circle has a sweet old image- gerberra daisy in a jar, love it and colored it with zig pens, added glossy accents to make it stand out and some glitter. Sequins and some border shading. Please do note Fred She Said also has pre colored images if you do not like to color, I do so I go for the digi non colored.

Inside also has the swallowtail butterfly, a little bigger. The coloring shows a little better here

I am adding it to Love to scrap– anything goes- my third card there. Incy Wincy Design– things with wings; Crafty card makers– water- jar has water in it; Simon Says Stamp– inspired by I- the stenciling looks like icing.and Sweet stamping– no designer paper.

I made this card with the sketch from CAS(E) this sketch, loved the simplicity of it. And Yes Fred She Said is back with her stamps and I love the new Swallowtail butterfly, I have two cards in separate posts for it.

I love coloring Fred She Said images and these are pretty. I colored the fall flowers with Zig color pens– love how bright they are and the swallowtail butterfly with them. I added viva glitter some microbeads, glossy accents and sequins for finishing touches. the sentiment is from an old Jellibean stamp. MFT dies used for the main panel and center panel which I inlaid and added foam sheet to.

Inside has an MFT butterfly, again colored with zig pens- they are wonderful- worth the investment, I got mine from eBay but took forever to come as they were coming from Japan- I have the 24 set now wish I had got the 48 one. I think there are a total of 80.

I am adding this to Love to Scrap– anything goes, Crafting from the Heart– Always anything goes; Incy Wincy– things with wings.

Even though our website shows only 4oz soap bars, we have 1 pound bars upon request, it helps save you money and use more, waste less.

MFT summer school- lesson 1

I liked the lesson 1 on MFT and made the card using the rule of thirds. I made this for a dear friend. I used MFT color challenge colors- limelight, wild wisteria, lemon drop and razzle berry.

This past weekend I was doing a craft show at an Indian exhibition and all those colors must be in my head as this looks very much like an Indian wedding card.

I started with embossing the damask background in gold embossing powder on a panel cut with BP 13. I sponged razzleberry, lemon drop and grapiscle inks. I cut a panel from BP 9 and added the sentiment with platinum embossing powder. I stamped another paper with damask stamp and grapesicle ink and then cut the flowers. The scalloped rose and mini roses. I then colored them with razzleberry and grape jelly inks. the leaf flourish was colored with lettuce alcohol ink. I used the rule of thirds on the horizontal panel and the rose. I think that balanced the focus of the card well. For the flowers I used viva hologram pen. The whole card was popped with foam sheet. I like how that raised the card evenly.

I used MFT sketch 227. I am lately in a kick to make shaker cards. Instead of the banner I used BP 3.

I used the stitched with love for my sentiment, a few recollections glitter and sequins for the shaker. Mini hybrid rose, I am in love with the viva pen that I used for the shine and the layered leaves. The two lines are from the desert bouquet stamp. All inks, stamps and dies are from MFT.

Here is one with MFT sketch 226, I had a class with Jen Starr on how to use inka gold. It was fun, I did the panels but did not turn them into cards the way they were shown as I knew I would use it differently, so the background is one I made at the glass.

The background was created on a black cardstock with red and blue ink gold and strips in the sides to match. I cut it with BP 15. I added a ribbon, tag from tag you’re It. Sentiment was stamped with black licorice and clear embossed. if you do not want to wait for the ink to dry this is great and gives it a shine. i added the leaf flourish colored with limeade ink. I added a stencil on the tag with berrylicious ink. Mini roses and a bigger rose9can’t recall the name), both from MFT was cut in MFT yardstick and rolled. Added sequins, razzleberry buttons and viva champagne pen for effects.
