I am so excited that I am the January guest designer at Loves to Scrap.
The challenge is LTSCB #21: “Anything Goes!“. It runs from January 6-19.
There are 2 sponsors: Technique Junkies (prize is a specialty CD) and The Paper Nest Dolls (prize is a $25 gift certificate to online store – good for digital and rubber stamps)
Here is my card
I got this new MFT close knit stamp in the mail and I thought it was perfect for this challenge. My new year resolution is to spend more time with my kids and friends. To work on increasing my business(www.rosebest.com) and learn about social media.
To start my card I used deconstructed sketch 132; I first stamped the hero arts background with versamark ink, embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I used lemon squeezed, tumble grass and shaded lilac distress inks for the background, there is also some frayed burlap(by mistake) on one side.
I embossed a purple cardstock and the other is a out of print text paper. I added twine for the vertical panel and popped the image on the top. I colored her with copics, love the image and the sentiment that goes with it. I added the sentiment on a flag stax with a button and twine. I added stickles, glossy accents, liquid pearls and sequins to finish the card. I added two gems to her shoes for a last touch.
I love the inside, I used a polka dot greetings to match the front.
I am entering it in deconstructed sketch- #132; Simon Says stamp– anything new- my new stamp; Loves rubber stamp– new year resolution to spend time with friends; Color me creative– anything goes.
Thank you for visiting and for your sweet comments.
