Here are all the holiday cards I made at the end of 2016. To keep up with my latest projects and cards – instagram handle: zehra/rosebest

All of these cards were personalized using the Penned Alphabet set from Concord and 9th. Love this set. A truly worth buying set.

img_3205I used Altenew henna elements and colored with zig clean color pens. Gold embossed added sequins and ribbon.

img_3272Male cards are always a little hard for me, but this turned out well, a little lace is always good. MFT stamps and dies.

img_3282

A simple shaker card with tons of sequins and MFT background die. also used viva pen for glitter.

img_3256

This was a male card made easy by tons of Impression obsession dies and stickles, soft distress inks background.

img_3203Another male card with snowman-paperpieced and dies colored with distress inks.

img_3206This was made with a tim hotlz stencil and Altenew Lily stamp with Altenew inks.

img_3209Dry embossed the background and added rolled roses fro MFT-love to color them with distress inks. ribbon and pearls are great to give finishing touches.

img_3269I used a digital stamp from Make it Crafty and colored with copics. Added tons of white gel pen.

img_3202I won a few stamps in Instagram and these were so adorable I made a little scene. colored with distress markers. lots of stickles.

img_3286

I used martha stewart punch for the wreath and a cute snowman stamp from my stash colored with gel pens. Stencl at the back is from MFT.

img_3288This is nothing but embossing with silver and gold ranger embossing powder.

img_3287First time I used Rub ons in the background. Santa is colored with copics.

img_3274Used inlay techniques with MFT ornaments die colored with zig pens. gems completed the card

img_3273Aren’t these penguins adorable. loved making hills and coloring with copics. Lots of stickles. This was a male card too.

cardstock, glossy accents, handmade card, handmade flowers, MFT dienamics, MFT stamps, pearls, twine, Zig clean color pens, zva pearls

I made this loosely based on MFT sketch 269 and moved it vertically. This was for a dear friend who had a loss.

image

It took me three tries to make this card background. I used zig pens to swipe the color and then blended with water, I added some more color that I did not blend, heat set it. Added the leaves with versa fine ink. the sentiment was embossed on black cut with postage stax(I use this stax a lot). added a rose from the previous pieces i did not like.   Initially i had made the sentiment piece with a blue flag stax but the sentiment did not emboss well and i had to let that go. I added matching leaves die to the rose in black and white. added the twine for the lower flag stax in the sketch. added some pearls fr pop.

so here is the actual card I had made for the challenge MFT 186. THis is a 5.5 x 5.5 card as I felt the word Happy needed it’s space.

P1050239

I love how this card looks, the stamps and die is awesome. I have also used MFT stencil the stripes and i used 3 MFT inks for it- bubblegum, blu raspberry and lemon drop. I distressed the edges with antique linen.  I also have dry embossed one panel. I had started with July color palette of MFT but then strayed as i added layers. The word happy was cut in three layers and then added a coat of glossy accents on the top. The rolled roses have stickles on the top. The swirl is from zva pearls.

I made this for Loves RUbber stamps guest Dt card for week 4. This is my last card for them in the month of November. I truly enjoyed creating the cards this month. The challenge is Showing Thanks and the sponsor is Saturated Canary– I used the stamp- Grow. THis challenge is a perfect way to end my month with Loves Rubber stamps and to say Thank you.

P1040218

If you have not visited Loves Rubber stamps– you should- it is like a one stop shop for most of your crafting needs.

I used the splitcoaststampers sketch 463, it had so many layers, so my thing! for the square layer I added a piece of lace, sorry the oval hides it it is an awesome lace. I colored the image with copics, and added wild honey distress ink to it’s background and to all the papers. I love this Gina K Design paper. The image was cut with MFT- oval Stax. I added glossy accents to the pot and flowers. Isn’t the MFT solid bracket border awesome, it is good enough to stand alone by itself. Behind the oval are two different MFT fishtail falg stax. I cut the flower- MFT pretty posies from My mind’s Eye paper and used the embossing tool kit to curl the flowers, I added milled lavender to it and then popped it all between the layers. I added a button and hemp cord that I colored with distress ink. I added a MFT vintage flourish and a zva pearl. I added some white pearls to balance it all.

Here is the inside.

Welcome to the Fred, She Said Winter 2012 Blog Hop! The flakes will be  flying in earnest soon…grab yourself a cuppa something warm and spend a while  checking out the new Fred, She Said Winter images!
If you have arrived from Nancy’s blog,  you are  right on track. If you are just happening by, you will want to start on the FSS  Blog.

Collect a secret word on each blog along the way, leave us some love on our  posts and follow the directions at the end of the hop for your chance to win  this FABULOUS PRIZE!

One winner will receive ALL of  this:
PRIZE: Bearly Mine Designs – £15 gift voucher
$25 GC to CropStop  (provided by Fred She Said)
$25 GC to Fred She Said  Store
I have a project and a card to share today.
I made a Luminaria, it is fun and easy to do. Here is the link for all details. The tutorial is from Splitcoaststampers.
Here it is from all four sides. This is so cool with the flameless tealight(I had received one a couple of years ago and luckily my daughter had it saved. Whew!)
I have used a lot of fun new winter images from Fred She Said. for the first panel, I popped the naughty or nice PRECOLORED elf(4inches). I fussy cut it and added mowed lawn distress ink to its edges. I added flower soft to all it’s trims and to the ground. I have had flower soft for quite some time and have never used it, Love the texture it provides. The next two opposite sides have the crystal snowflakes, down to 1 inches each. I colored them with salty ocean distress ink, it is a beautiful color and I added stickles to it. I do not have the cutting machine so I hand cut each one, it was pretty easy to do. On the side opposite of the elf I added the PRECOLORED Snow Lady- Light Up your Holidays(4inches). I fussy cut her, added salty ocean distress ink and added some flower soft to her scarf and holly leaves on her hat. Her hand reaches out to the side of the luminaria.
Here is th inside and a picture in a dark room.
Now onto my card
I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch 171 for this card. I did take some liberties with the sketch. I mirror imaged it. Instead of the full circle I added it as a corner to resemble a hill and added a sentiment where the flag would be.
Fred She Said has so many fun images. Since the theme was Christmas, I decided to color Emma the Skating elf with traditional colors and so there is not much shading here. I used R29 for the red and added glossy accents wherever the color red is. I used Y08, and G00,YG06 and 03 for the dress. skin-E35,11 and E02 Hair is E15,11and YR23. Do you see the gorgeous Crystal snowflake peeping from under her, this is 4 inches and is so awesome. It is colored with Salty ocean distress ink and then has pearlized water, once dry has stickles. In the corner is the absolute beautiful PRECOLORED Poinsettia, I just printed the jpg sheet, did not resize it as the size is just perfect. I fussy cut it added stickles. Once dry, popped all layers on dimensionals and added a sweet white button in it’s center. Other details added are a embossed Folder -cuttlebug and christmas paper pack used here. Christmas blessing sentiment, also from Fred She Said. I also added a zva swirl, this card looks so shiny in real life.
Here is the inside, could not resist adding a poinsettia again.
