I used the MFT stamp PI- Blowing Bubbles. I stamped her with Brilliance Ink, heat set it and then colored the skin the Copics E00,01,11,13. I colored her top with distress inks- love these new colors-peacock feathers and squeezed Lemonade.
Her hair has E33,35,37. Her skirt is paper pieced. The pattern papers are from Basic Grey-Laurderdale and Bazzill. I love how Tara has used the chevron stripes and i used that and added a bow. i used the fringed perennial flower with a pearl and added leaves to it. The sentiment rests on some Mix and Match Banners. i used QuicKutz rectangles and lastly added glossy accents to the bubbles, hearts, rhinestones to the shoes and lovely photo corners dienamics.

This is my fourth card in the contest  using the June contest sketch  from MFT stamps. I made it for the contest. I have truly enjoyed this sketch. I made only one change and that is that I put the tab on the side as it did not fit in the sketch on the top. I did flip the sketch.

I made a Recessed Window card. At first i thought it would be hard but i was surprised how easy it is to do. The tutorial can be found at splitcoaststampers here

I started at first with the exact tutorial but found that it was small for my purpose, so this is a resized version, this is a 8×6 card. the inside is 5×7. I started with a pattern paper, be careful, it can tear easily. of course by the time i did the inside and outside it has tons of reinforcement to hold good.

When i first saw this background at Little Darlings i knew it is a perfect fit for my PI’s. I had to get it, and i am glad i did. I stamped the PI-Jump for joy. I then masked her and added the background, added some more clouds. then leaving her mask in, i masked the sky and added Crushed Olive and Peeled Paint distress ink for the grass. I removed that added the grass mask and colored the sky using tumbled glass and broken china. Left her mask on and spritz it with pearlized water. Let it dry. remove her mask.

i used copics to add color to the grass YG95,97,99. I doodled all the flowers, i wanted to have just a bed of wild flowers and scattered flowers across the grass. I colored them with copics, R29, B66, Y08, V12, B28. I colored her with E00, E02,E11,R20. I paper pieced her with paper from the new Indie Chic-Saffron(it is an awesome paper pad). I added R29 for some highlights. I stamped the clouds and cut them out, coloring them with C3 and 5 and outlined with C7.  I wanted to use twine for the rope but decided to use sew floss as it gives a better rope feel. I added a yellow Y02 around her versus a B00 as i wanted her to look like she is in direct sun. I added rhinestones on her feet and the rope in place of knots. I popped her with Jody Boosters.

The papers used are Bazill Carstock, Indie Chic-Saffron, Basic Grey-Sweet threads and Lauderdale. Some pearls are from my stash and some are Mellisa Frances, all colored with R22. The ribbon is from my stash(love how it went well with the colors). The gingham i think gives it nice ground. I always like that look.

I added the bracket tab dienamic for the sentiment and brushed it with Vintage Photo Distress ink. The flower trio dienamic was cut with papers form Indie Chic-Saffron and Basic Grey-Lauderdale with red brads for the centers.

When you make a recessed Window card be prepared to do a lot of the inside. Here is the back (you can see the recessed portion which is now raised in the back) and  inside.

I used the same papers and added the layered label dienamics for my sentiment. I popped the layers with some Jody boosters. The sentiment is from the same stamp set VIP collection. It also has mini brads from the same color family as the large brad. Sentiment was brushed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I made this card with the sketch as a focus from Paper and Such Blog challenge. This was a great sketch to work with.

This card was inspired by Tasnim. I used Hero Arts Cling- Large Blossom. I embossed it with black embossing powder. I colored it with distress markers. and then spritz it with pearlized water. I cut all the between parts and then added a border to the image and added Jody Boosters in between. Added a backing with pattern paper. Background patter paper is Miss Carolina-dolled Up. Sentiment is from All Smiles MFT

I changed the sketch a little bit and that is instead of the second square I added a Rosette with an epoxy sticker from Creative imaginations. A little rick rack and ribbon bow completed the card.

Here is the inside. This was made for someone who is not keeping well at this time.

I made this card with the Sentiment as a focus, for Paper and Such Blog challenge and I used Vera View’s inspirational photo on Lily pad cards.

I used Rubber Stampede Wild Rose Background on water color paper and colored it with copics and then I learnt that very day in my copics class that watercolor paper is a no no for copics. But i do love the look. I used R20,22, G02,07 and Y21,11, B00. I used glossy accents and Prisma color pencil Sienna Brown.

I cut the sentiment tab with MFT layered dienamic. I stamped the Sentiment on it and added fried brick distress ink. The pearls are colored with Y21. I added a ribbon and a lace and a studio calico butterfly colored with Y21 and R29. I usually have a hard time creating CAS cards but this worked out well. I love the brightness of it. I like sympathy cards to be a little cheerful as it is a sad time and it needs to be a little encouraging.

I made this card using the sketch for the June contest in MFT stamps.

I knew I wanted to use the ALM- I’ve Got your back, love it, it is sweet. the long panel fit right into it.

I started with creating the background. I used MFT Bon Appetit. the checkered background was perfect for this. I stamped it in Broken China, Seedless Preserves and Fired Brick distress inks. I clear embossed the entire background once it was stamped. I did it on Watercolor Paper. I had done it with lighter color and spritz with water and did not like the look of everything mingled in. This is more a crisper look and went well with the image.

The long panel with the chevron stripes is form Miss Carolina. All layers have a black background, i like how that gives a cleaner look.

The ALM I’ve got Your back has this gorgeous big letters, the entire image was stamped and clear embossed and then paper pieced with We R memory-lovestruck, Happily Lost from Lily Bee Design. they were all brushed with Tea Dye Distress ink. She was colored with Prisma Color Pencils, I added some stickles to her pant and used B00 for her background and N3 and 5 for her to stand on. I stamped Fabulous on the Notched tag with Finishing Flourishes around it.I added a couple of stars from the Notched Tag.

I then added lots of tiny elements to bring the card to life. I added the Mix and Match Banner for the side tab. I added Squiggle Dienamics for the two long panels. There are photo corners with a Laura Ashley button. I added the Rolled daisy in two colors and brushed with broken china distress ink, there is a pearl tucked in between and layered on two Vintage flourishes. I then added some pearls from my stash.

Here is the inside. I stamped a sentiment from All Smiles with the chevron stripes paper and two beads.

I made this card using the sketch for the June contest in MFT stamps. I made only one change and that is that I did not use the tab as it did not fit in the sketch.

I had wanted to make a center step card for some time and the Home Sweet Home stamp seemed the perfect reason to do so. It took me two days to do this as I had lots to dry and wait before I could put it all together.

I started with the tutorial for this card from Frances in splitcoaststampers, resources section. After I had my base. I cut all my panels in various combining colors as I went along with it. I did not use pattern papers except for her jacket and skirt. I embossed all the pink paper-Gina K cardstock. Once that was done i worked on my panel. I stamped it with Hero Arts friend stamp and distressed it with several different distress inks-tumbled glass, wild honey, milled lavender, peeled paint and scattered straw. I added some pearls with my water brush, it shines and glimmers in real life. I added fishtail flag stax, my absolute favorite buy. I added some trendy tape before I cut them out, I love that look.

I then started with the stamp. I stamped the PI-Home sweet home, I colored her with copics. I paper pieced her skirt (lilybee designs-happily lost) and jacket (basic grey- sweet threads) and colored it with copics too. I popped another key on her. I made a frame around her, I used Quic Kutz rectangles. I added some brads, a key charm, isn’t that fun. I added some stickles( got to love that stuff). She has a added rolled scallop flower with the leaves in felt from prima donna petals and stickles for her center. I added glossy accents to her hair where the mid section joins, her shoes and her belt.

I then added more fun stuff. I stamped Tag You’re IT-butterfly 6 times. I used only 5. I colored each one with Copics and some pearls. I cut them out and then cut a lot of butterflies from the notched tag die. I did all of their bodies with MFT twine-blossom, flax and lilac. I then stamped the sentiment with Momento Ink on a fishtail flag stax and clear embossed it. I punched two holes on it’s side( i saw this done by Nicole Heady and had to repeat it) and added twine fringe. I enjoyed all elements in putting this card together, It was a little different for me as I was focusing more on techniques with this card.

Here is the inside. I stamped her once more and then finished it with some fishtail flag stax and a butterfly with stickles and twine.

I am also entering it in two other challenge as it fits the Girlie Girl at Jellypark and Stamp Tv to add a charm.

I would love to share another card that my lovely daughter made for me on Mother’s day using I’ve got Your Back. Love it. She wrote a whole letter inside.

The eyes on the top are I guess her way of saying she is watching me most of the time.

I made this using the sketch for MFT guest contest for June.

I received some new MFT goodies and had to work with them.

here is my card

When i saw this artist palette i knew i had to get this PI- You Color My World.

I only made one change with the sketch, i used bracket tab and put it a layer down as that is how it fit my sketch and i also did flip the sketch.

I knew this stamp and this die were perfect for a easel card, so i made a twisted easel card. I used Basic Grey- Sweet threads for my pattern paper. I used aged mahagony for all my edges, i Love that color. I colored her with copics and paper pieced her pants, pocket and hat. Her hat is cute.I added the new squiggle dies behind her on the ribbon as a accent. they are lovely as they are.

The copics used on the PI- E33,35,37,00,11,13,53. V04,15,17, YR18,68. G02, R20, Y08. Sakura glitter pens for the palette in her hand and glossy accents.

Rainbow- R29, YR68, Y11, G07, B28, V17, R20 and V12. Lots of stickles dried overnight. White gel pen to accent the brush.

here is a close up of her

The palette in the inside has all paint dabs made with felt. Here is a closeup. also i used pearls i had in my stash to help the easel stand up.
